I came to visit Baby {D} shortly after she was born, and let me tell you, there’s something so special about being around a baby that’s only hours old! Maybe that’s why what I consider to be a “Fresh 48” session (as it happens within the first 48 hours of a baby’s life) as one of my favorites!

And nothing can beat capturing the first family photo!

I’ve loved photographing the {M} family in the past so when Mom contacted me about photographing the moment when she and Dad tell their two girls about Baby #3, I was totally excited!

We started the evening out by walking around the farm area, checking out the cows, chickens, ducks, etc.

Then, Mom decided to sit the family down for a pretend picnic where she would let the girls open up a special gift.
